Grupa Kapitałowa IMMOBILE S.A. on February 12, 2021, announced in the current report the conclusion of a conditional purchase agreement for 90% of shares in Dlako Sp. z o.o., which is the owner of the Quiosque brand.
One of the company’s assumptions is development through acquisitions, in which it has already been successful. The IMMOBILE Group has taken over two listed companies in recent years – PJP Makrum (as Projprzem) and Atrem, which have significantly improved their results since then. After signing the conditional purchase agreement for Quiosque, it will wait three months for the fulfillment of its terms and the conclusion of the final agreement.
‘We are in the process of analyzing the key areas of the Quiosque business, in addition, we will wait for the approval of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) and the Supervisory Board’ – says Rafał Jerzy, president of Grupa Kapitałowa IMMOBILE S.A. ‘We also entered the construction sector during the biggest crisis in 18 years, reactivating this area of activity at PJP Makrum. Time has shown that it was a good decision – adds the President.
Quiosque is a Polish clothing brand with almost 30 years of tradition – the first store was opened in 1992. Its sales network includes over 160 stores, making it the largest network in the country targeted at women in terms of the number of stores. In addition to the traditional sales channel, the company is dynamically developing the e-commerce channel, which grew particularly dynamically during the pandemic.
‘The events of the past year slowed down the streak. It is a good company with a good history, so it is worth fighting for its future’ – sums up Rafał Jerzy.
